I use a variety of methods, including field experiments, socioeconomic surveys, systematic literature reviews, and discrete choice modelling to investigate applied questions related to the control and impacts of the Indo-Pacific lionfish invasion in the Caribbean. Additionally, I use meta-analyses to address more general questions in invasion ecology such as: 1) What is the nature of the relationship between species diversity and a community's susceptibility to invasion? and 2) How do marine invasive species interact with climate change?
