Coral reef ecology

From stochastic processes like hurricanes to more deterministic factors like species traits, I am interested in how these factors interact to shape the structure of fish communities on coral reef ecosystems. 

Another focus of mine is investigating how global drivers of environmental change such as climate change, overexploitation and invasive species affect the functioning of coral reef ecosystems and how external factors such as habitat connectivity and internal factors such as native species diversity affect system resilience to these stressors.
